If you've always wanted to learn how to paint, then this is the class for you.
For the beginner who wants to explore their own subject, with professional guidance and instruction. Maureen creates an environment which allows everyone to work at their own pace, on their own concept and be supported through the process. She will take you through the process of choosing your subject, preparing your canvas, understanding colour, which brushes to use and WHAT DO I DO NOW!
No experience necessary.
Choosing acrylic is a great beginning as it is very forgiving, and allows you to challenge yourself through the painting, while giving you brilliant colours and textural elements.
Participants need to bring their supplies to the first class. Supply list is available upon request.
Maureen Coles has been creating art for most of her life. There hasn't been a period in her life that she has not been sculpting clay, drawing, painting, paper-casting, or flower arranging. She now focuses on acrylic painting and teaching acrylics. She has drawn on her vast wealth of knowledge in other artistic disciplines to become a highly sought after instructor. Her unique perspective also gives her work a distinct style which has piqued the interest of many in the art world.
