Transplanting the upstairs-downstairs comedy, Dilip Mehta has crafted a delightful feature debut scripted in collaboration with his acclaimed sister, director Deepa Mehta. Featuring charming turns from Don McKellar and Lisa Ray and a standout performance by Seema Biswas. Stella Elizabeth Mattews has been a cook in the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi for 30 years. She is brilliant at creatively padding her salary - with a few pilfered items, some minor overcharging, and a special phone-order duty free business. Cooking With Stella is great fun to watch as it offers a glimpse of how Canadians live in India's capital.
