Craft Fairs

The North Vancouver Community Arts Council partners with the City of North Vancouver and the District of North Vancouver to coordinate outdoor summer craft fairs.  The Fairs are now finished for 2011, so check back in the spring for information about upcoming events for summer 2012.  In the meantime, you can visit the Gift Box at CityScape Community Art Space for a special selection of items all year round.  See the currently featured artists & artisans here.

Looking for unique, locally handmade items? Come admire the talents of local crafters who display their unique, handmade items for sale. There are between 15 - 30 artisans at each craft fair, so there are lots of great things to choose from. Craft fairs are an excellent way to meet the people who make each item, so you can learn about the process and the materials they use. Buying direct from the makers is a great way to support local artists in your community and the local economy, as well as reducing the environmental impact of having goods shipped from all over the world.
