Kirigami Paper Cutting kirigami by Rachael Ashe
with Rachael Ashe
Saturday, March 7, 1:00-3:00pm

CityScape Community Art Space
North Shore Art Crawl

Using freeform paper cutting, Rachael creates intricate abstract artwork.  During the Art Crawl and as part of the Purely Paper exhibition, she will demonstrate kirigami, the Japanese style of symmetrical cut paper design combining paper folding and cutting.

Rachael will also have some samples for visitors to try their hands at kirigami - see the sample pictured at right.

Purely Paper continues to April 11 at CityScape Community Art Space.
