Born in Peru and educated in Canada, Monica possesses both a scientific and an artistic background, holding a Bachelor in Science (Biology) and a Masters in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning.

Nature's beauty, simplicity, and spiritual significance have kept her in awe all her life.  These interests steered her towards photography, gardening, the study of plants and animals.  She became a collector of contemporary healing and spiritual art developing a fondness for the work of British Columbia's West Coast First Nations.

A love of nature and her desire to share human art and history are the driving forces in her creative process. Her modern designs attempt to fuse ancient history with nature in a classy, modern flare.  The result:  a one of a kind 'wearable art'...that tells a timeless ethnic or natural story.  Eclectic.
