'Rusty Guts' - Glimpses of a Historic Shipyard July 16 - August 28, 2010
Opening Reception: Thursday, July 15, 2010, 7:00-9:00pm

This exhibition hosted a collection of creative images from 14 local photographers of North Vancouver's once booming shipbuilding site in its rusty demise. The works were accompanied by shipyard artifacts from the North Vancouver Museum & Archives. This display shared stories and celebrated with the community this significant historic landmark .
Participating Artists: Jane Appleby, Grace Gordon-Collins, Sandra Grant, Margaret Heywood, Allison Howard, George Janousek, Peter Kreuk, Lucian Leibman, Valerie Metz, Elfi Redpath, Lorne Topham, Jim Travis, and Mike Wakefield

Join 'Shipyard Sal' from the North Vancouver Museum & Archives on a lively tour of the former Burrard Dry Dock site. Daily Wednesday to Sunday at 1:30pm and 3:00pm. Meet at the PGE Railway Station at the foot of Lonsdale.
