Teresa Wegrzyn at District Library Gallery

Teresa derives great joy and satisfaction from painting. She paints with acrylics and is especially drawn to bright colours and highly textured abstract paintings.

Currently residing in New Westminster, British Columbia, Teresa Wegrzyn was born in Poland and, in 1981, immigrated with her family to Winnipeg, Manitoba – always wanting to move to British Columbia where she could enjoy the beauty of the West Coast.

Her artwork is in numerous private collections throughout Canada, the USA, Europe and Australia. She was also honoured to sit on the jury panel for the 2013 charity event, World Cup Youth Live Painting Competition.
