FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Kid’s Claymation and Video Game Design Summer Camps
Art used to be distinguished by sculptures, paintings, and sketches. In the 21st Century, however, art can be creating a webpage, producing 3D animation,
designing your own video game, or producing a claymation movie – like Wallace and Gromit!
This summer, the North Vancouver Community Arts Council is exciting offering week long art camps focusing on Claymation Movie Production and Flash Video Game Design. The camps, in partnership with Vancouver Island’s Byte Camp program, offer children the opportunity to express creativity through the use of technology.
These camps will provide children with the skill and confidence to follow their dreams into the expanding world of technology art, or just provide them with a positive atmosphere to have some fun! Camps run July 4 – 8, July 11 – 15, and August 29 – September 2 for ages 9-12 and 11-14. All camps take place at Maplewood House, 399 Seymour River Pl, North Vancouver and cost $115 for half day, and $235 for full day. We are also offering other fun summer camps focusing on drawing and painting, theatre, mixed-media, mask-making, and more!
