I have always had a love and respect for nature and the sciences. I spent much of my youth hiking and nature-watching in the wilds of British Columbia. I took up digital photography a few years ago, and try to get out in the field as much as possible.
I consider myself to be an opportunistic nature photographer, in that I enjoy landscape, scenic, wildlife and bird photography. While I value post-processing software and it’s capabilities, I use it as little as possible, relying more on filters and in-camera processing and techniques. Some of my favorite images are straight out of the camera, with no post-processing whatsoever.
If you would like to own an original print from my portfolio, please contact me through my website or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I don’t provide automated pricing or ordering on my site as each image and sale is unique. A print can be customized in many ways – from the dimensions and paper, to the laminate and mounting method, a unique piece of art can be created for you, based on your tastes. For example, for many pieces I prefer a matte finish, to reduce glare. I find this beneficial for larger prints. However, there are certain prints where a high gloss finish is more appealing.
My prints are made by Reed Art and Imaging (Colorado) using a LightJet laser printer and traditional photographic processes and chemistries. LightJet technology produces the highest quality prints available today. Fuji Crystal Archive paper provides for the ultimate in color saturation, continuous tone and edge-to-edge sharpness, at an amazing 4000 dpi.
Limited Edition prints are produced as a run of 10. Each print is signed, dated and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that is signed and dated after purchase. Please let me know if you have an interest in owning a Limited Edition print. I would be happy to create a unique piece for you.
